Marcus K. Pierre is a new associate practicing in the areas of maritime litigation, insurance defense, and transactional law. Mr. Pierre received his juris doctor from Tulane University Law School in May of 2018. While in law school, he was extensively involved in oral advocacy. He served as a member of Tulane Law School’s John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Team, the National Black Law School Association’s Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team, received regional and national accolades in both competitions, and was inducted to the Order of the Barristers. Mr. Pierre was also a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. Prior to law school, Mr. Pierre attended Davidson College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
