Morgan is an associate with the firm practicing in the area of admiralty and maritime litigation and general insurance defense. Mrs. Wilson earned her juris doctor from Tulane University Law School in May of 2018 with a maritime certificate. While in law school she served as Assistant Coach for Tulane’s Willem C. Vis International Arbitration team and argued in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration competitions in 2017 and 2018 in Hong Kong and Vienna, Austria. Morgan won the Tulane Moot Court intraschool competition for International Arbitration in 2016 and 2017 as well as the award for Best Oral Advocate in the Fredrick S. Douglas Moot Court Competition in 2017. Morgan was also a Rule XX student attorney for the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. Prior to law school Morgan taught middle school science and served in admission roles at the Williams-Mystic Maritime Studies Program and Mount Holyoke College. Morgan earned her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts in environmental policy. Morgan’s relationship with the sea began early, she grew up boating on her family’s Chris-Craft near Clear Lake, Texas and, in college, went on multi-week offshore voyages aboard the SSV Corwith Cramer and the SSV Robert C. Seamans.
